Argyll’s Secret Coast is the brainchild of local businesspeople who wanted to attract more people to this wonderful part of the west coast of Scotland. They got together, the hoteliers, the shop keepers, the restaurant owners and the gallery owners, decided that ‘together we’re stronger’ and came up with a way of jointly promoting the area for the benefit of everyone and formed the Kyles Marketing Group. And so Argyll’s Secret Coast was born. It’s a way to tell the world about this amazing, secret place.

If you own a business that is based on Argyll’s Secret Coast, then why not become a member? It could really benefit your business and the local community. We also offer ’neighbour’ membership for businesses which operate in the area.

We’re a member of Argyll & The Isles Tourism Cooperative, a consortium of tourism organisations that’s working to raise the profile of the region and promote it as a world-class tourist destination. AITC brings together eight diverse areas of Argyll under one strong regional identity. It is able to reach a wide national and international audience through high-profile trade exhibitions, media campaigns and www.exporeargyll.com. AITC also lobbies on our behalf. Through AITC we have a say on regional and national policies that affect us and we’re represented on the Scottish Tourist Alliance Council. As a member of Argyll’s Secret Coast you’ll be automatically listed on the Explore Argyll website. Accommodation listings on Explore Argyll are via a link to www.argyllsecretcoast.co.uk.
