There’s a number of self-catering holiday cottages available to let on Ardlamont Estate, including the Studio Cottage, the Old School House, the Beater's Cottage and Woodend Cottage, all of which have been refurbished to extremely high standards.
The Studio Cottage is a single storey cottage on the edge of the wood. It sleeps two, with accommodation consisting of a lounge with open fire, double bedroom, kitchen and bathroom with shower. The Old School House also sleeps two. It has an open-plan lounge, kitchen, toilet and shower room, and a dramatic minstrel's gallery with double bedroom. The Beater's Cottage is part of the former Coach House and Stables, and has spacious and accommodation for six, in three double bedrooms. Woodend Cottage is the former Factor’s house and can sleep six in two doubles and two singles. It’s set in its own secluded garden.
The 640-acre estate teems with wildlife and includes a mile and a half of shingle beach. Its spectacular setting above the shores of Loch Fyne affords fabulous views of Arran, Bute and the Mull of Kintyre. There are facilities for guests’ own horses.
There’s also a craft shop and café, and the estate can arrange all sorts of activities, from horse-riding to orienteering to stalking.Contact Niki Beadnall or Brendan Quinlan
