Coastal Quest Horseriding Adventure

3rd - 5th April
Join Wilder Ways to explore some of the hidden, rocky coves and trails of Argyll''s Secret Coast. This two and a half-day trail ride will carry you through this unspoilt landscape, discovering empty beaches, ancient woodland and tranquil meadows, with total comfort each evening to rest your weary legs.

Over the three days you will explore over 35km of the Cowal peninsula and climb to the mini-summit of Cnoc Polphail at 100m. You'll ride into a hidden cove with stunning views out to the Isle of Arran, along old farm tracks and learn to navigate across open hill ground by the plants under your hooves. This trail takes you past an ancient standing stone on the horizon and you'll explore ancient woods and golden beaches ideal for kicking up some sand and deep paddles. On the last day you'll picnic by a ruined loch-side castle.

Your horse will be ready for you each morning, but if you want to get your ‘hands dirty’ you are welcome to help.
